The Sanchar Nigam Association of TTA (SNATTA) is a association of Direct Recruited TTA whose qualifications are Diploma or more.
The recruitment of TTAs was started in 2000 after formation of BSNL. Till then several batches of TTAs have been recruited.
The TTA Association was formed in 2006 for welfare of TTAs
and to strengthen the BSNL.

Main Objectives & Demands of SNATTA are:
1. To get reduced the service condition
to 5 years for appearing in JTO
internal exam.
2. To conduct Limited Departmental Competitive Exam on
regular basis.
3. Change in designation of TTA to JE (Telecom) and make it
cadre as in other PSU and Central Govt. Organizations for
Diploma holders in Engineering.
4. For getting orders
issued for inter circle transfers under para-8 for TTAs to their
Circle of choice.
5. Since TTAs with
Diploma in Engineering and more qualified are to be posted for
supervisory post, they must get highest pay scale as per
recommendation of 6th pay commission.
